I spent free time in the Internet and I found one again amazing
fan-art about The Bone Season. Someone drew
Nashira who looks like that Nashira in my head
In my opinion in film adaptation Nashira should be play by Australian actress Cate Blanchett. With a good characterization and film magic Cate will be perfect antagonist character :D
What do you think about Cate as Nashira in film adaptation ?

Hey there Bone Season fans!
Some really fun news!! Samantha Shannon was SO sweet and tweeted back at our Wikia YA Twitter account...here is the tweet so enjoy :)!
The Bone Season is one from my favorite books, and I very like Paige. She is strong and beautiful young woman who I like. In my opinion this role should be played Ashley Benson (left) who plays Hanna in PLL or Freya Mavor (right). Freya is a better choice because she is tall, have long blonde hair and grey eyes. And Freya is Scotish, and Paige is Irish.
The Mime Order cover was FINALLY revealed...and it is looking mighty fine. The Mime Order is the second book in The Bone Season series. It will focus on Paige Mahoney, who is public enemy number one of the Scion. It will also deal with the clairvoyant community, which is in total disarray.
Tell us a little bit about what this new cover symbolizes.
SAMANTHA SHANNON: I can’t say a great deal about the combination of images without spoiling the plot, but both the moth and the flower both appear in the first book, so you should have some idea of what they mean.
Did the immediate success of the first novel surprise you at all?
Absolutely. I definitely wasn’t expecting it to become a New York Times best-seller in its first week.
I know you’ve outline…
Samantha Shannon went back to her old school this week to inspire future authors with her broad success story. She met students in year 7 and year 8 at the Bishop Ramsey Church of England school in Hume Way, Ruislip. She only left the school in 2010 so most of her old teachers are still there.
Hey there The Bone Season fans!
A small update for those of you who can't WAIT for the second Bone Season book to come out (like us)...Samantha Shannon posted this photo on her tumblr today.

Note: I read an uncorrected proof of The Bone Season. My thanks to Bloomsbury and Wikia for the copy. I have kept this review as spoiler-free as possible, but there are some minor disclosures of elements of the book’s world and story.
The Bone Season is the first novel in a planned seven-part series (a la Harry Potter), written by Samantha Shannon while still an undergraduate at Oxford University. The series was snapped up by Bloomsbury for a reported six-figure sum, and, in the modern world, film rights were bought before the first book was published, by Andy Serkis’ company Imaginarium. It’s fair to say the hype surrounding The Bone Season has been pretty intense. So, does it live up to those incredibly high expectations?
When it comes to revie…
Hi everyone. I finished reading the first novel of the Bone Season series just yesterday, and I'm quite happy I received an uncorrected proof (thanks again Wikia and Gcheung28!). This was definitely one of the best read I had this year. Now, time for a little review, spoiler-free, I swear.
First things first, about the bright side of the novel.
- a compelling universe: the world of the clairvoyant is well-built and original; a welcome change from vampires, werewolves, angels, witches and else.
- a damn-good heroine. No need for a damzel in distress when you have a girl/young woman who can defend herself and make her own choices from the very beginning of the novel. This is refreshing from all the standards. And other characters I wish I knew mo…
