The Bone Season Wiki

Augurs are a type of clairvoyant that use organic matter, or elements, to connect with the æther, most often used to predict the future. They are Order Two and aura color is blue.

Description[]

Augurs use the signs of the natural world for communication with the spirit world. Like with soothsayers, there is a great emphasis on divination and foresight. Augurs are about as common as soothsayers. They both are also the ones most often to find themselves begging on the streets in winter. Augurs practice augury, which makes more use of the body than the spirit and typically requires an unprocessed organic numen. Augury is the easiest type of unnaturalness for amaurotic charlatans to imitate because the signs they use are often obvious.
